A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our Audiens team to become VP Global Sales, Audiens. You will lead sales for the Milan based Audiens team globally, in alignment with our parent company, Bango.

Audiens is a powerfully simple Customer Data Platform (CDP) that makes it easy to collect, organize, activate and analyze customer data across the whole organization – without the need for complex and costly programming skills.

Major retail brands, banks and mobile operators depend on Audiens to improve the performance of their digital advertising campaigns and improve their customer communications, engagement and retention. Customer include ING Bank, Experian, Unieuro, LeoVegas and more.

Audiens is looking for an experience sales lead, with a startup mindset, to own and drive global sales expansion, starting in the UK. Based out of the Bango HQ in Cambridge, you will be flexible about working from Cambridge, London or other locations, and regularly spend time at the Audiens HQ in Milan. Reporting directly to the Audiens CEO, this is a fantastic career opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • As a senior member of the Audiens leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a winning international sales strategy.
  • You will lead global growth, starting in the UK. Once momentum is established you will be responsible for building the team and growing traction in additional global markets.
  • You will grow and develop Audiens business and revenue streams by identifying, negotiating and closing direct deals with brands.
  • You will build and maintain a network of high quality global resellers, initially in the UK. Resellers may include independent media agencies, digital consultancy firms, system integrators and software vendors.
  • You will support event and trade fair preparation and participate in events to represent Audiens.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience selling digital advertising products, mobile advertising or comparable SaaS solutions to brands, agencies or trading desks. Direct to brand client sales experience is a strong plus, especially to retail, banking, travel and other verticals.
  • Prior experience or relationships with CMOs and media agencies in the UK and across Europe
  • You have proven success exceeding sales targets and are following a consultative sales approach on behalf of your clients
  • You can build custom business cases, based on clients’ needs, to demonstrate ROI
  • Data, mobile advertising and/or platform sales experience is advantageous
  • You have strong influential, communication and presentation skills
  • You are a self-starter able to simply get the job done. Experience of startups or companies breaking into new markets is an advantage. You will ideally be able to win initial UK customers before expanding the team and growing global success
  • You are willing and able to travel, both in the UK and internationally
