As VP Product Management, reporting to the SVP Product Strategy and Sales, you are in the pivotal role of translating the company’s product strategy into a compelling product proposition and the creation of innovative products that address market needs and continue to drive our success.

We seek an effective and strategic product manager, adept at using data-driven decisioning and market insight to advance our leading position in this space. You will lead a team of Product Owners focused on developing key functions within our platform while also ensuring those capabilities come together to deliver exciting new use cases critical to our long-term success.

You will be entrepreneurial, a great communicator, commercially minded and have a passion for success. You will ensure the product organisation is market-facing and embed product discipline by following SaaS product management best practice methods.

You will work collaboratively with teams across the business, leading with influence, including Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Business Analysts, and Marketing to drive the product vision, ensure products meet customer needs, and are successfully brought to market and key business results are realised.


  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing product team, making sure that goals and expectations are clearly set and met
  • Manage a team that focuses on outcomes and delivers with good velocity and quality ensuring market value creation with each step
  • Bring operational rigor and consistency to the product team in requirements management, product design, development, and go to market processes
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to define valuable, differentiating product roadmaps optimised for our target markets and key customers
  • Engage with customers with deep product knowledge, uncovering and understanding customer needs and translating them into productised, consistent features
  • Manage product and feature lifecycles through ideas, design, live service, and end-of-life phases with a customer-centric approach
  • Consult, review and approve the development proposal for product features and other changes with the Product Owners and Engineering teams
  • Track and prioritize product features against priorities, customer deliveries and other initiatives
  • Provide powerful, easy to use product materials for the Sales team to maximise sales volume and value, including product presentations, specifications, RFQ responses, training, and pricing models
  • Manage clear product documentation for Bango products, components, and services


  • 5+ years of product management experience in Cloud or SaaS businesses with hands-on experience, building scaled platforms and products to support B2B propositions in a high growth enterprise
  • Proven experience of transforming product organizations into high-performing commercially focused product teams, encompassing interworking of a small suite of related products
  • Results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of delivering quick wins and driving business growth while refining and translating a long-term vision
  • Passion to represent our market needs, boost new customer adoption and lifetime value for your products
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead and conclude debate around product marketing priorities, key messages, and unique product values
  • Insightful decision making based on business acumen, key priorities, and valuable outcomes
  • Ability to influence and manage internal stakeholders, to ensure stakeholder, customer goals and objectives are understood, and met within agreed prioritization.
  • Great written and oral communication skills, able to influence and enthuse others
  • Excellent teamworking skills and experience collaborating with and influencing other teams
  • Self-motivated and highly self-sufficient, with the ability to prioritize your own outcomes based on business objectives
  • Willing to travel to meet our global customers and partners (situation and travel rules permitting
  • Strong communicator able to bridge the message between customers/market and engineering.
  • Technically strong. Able to intelligently question and debate detailed technical aspects specifically around API design and cloud architecture


  • Product Management of payments, subscriptions, or similar business critical software solutions
  • Understanding of product implementation principles and software development methodologies
  • Managing and responding to large corporate procurement processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP etc.)
