VP Payment Product Sales

Role
We are currently recruiting a driven and experienced VP Payment Product Sales to help lead our growing Sales team. Based in the US the location is flexible however West Coast preferred. This new role will drive and manage the global Bango sales team for Bango Payment products.
Your focus will be split across leading the team against a
global target, as well as driving your own deals with key customers including
telecoms companies, retailers and merchant partners to lead by example and
results.
In this role, you will report to the SVP Payment Product
Strategy and Sales. Together, you will define and deliver a successful sales
plan that will generate new leads, increase the sales value of opportunities
and drive your deals through signature to revenue generation. You will also grow existing customer sales
with new products, options and services across the global team.
You will be energised and motivated to lead and expand the
team, drive new sales and directly contribute to the performance of Bango sales
overall.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales plans to beat business
targets and win new customers
- Manage the sales team, and act as high achieving mentor and
role model to the global team
- Drive and evolve key sales processes, including
qualification, pipeline management, revenue forecasting and deal strategies
- Lead winning proposals and responses to formal tender
processes, including RFI, RFQ and RFPs
- Engage with customers at all levels; proposing Bango
products to address the customers challenges
- Drive the negotiation and closure of terms with
opportunities, working in collaboration with Legal, Finance and other Bango
teams as required
- Communicate the state, trend and factors of region
performance to ensure improved sales success
Essential
- Proven sales leadership and hands-on sales experience in
meeting or exceeding business and personal sales targets
- Strong team leadership skills, with focus on leading by
example, training and regular mentorship activities to rapidly and
substantially increase Bango sales power
- Ability to build relationships, present professionally and
influence all levels of the organization
- Deep understanding and application of business acumen in a
sales environment
- Experience in running deals from start to end, alone and
with a team, with energy and commitment
- Proven ability to win high value sales, against tough
competition in demanding market segments
- Strong problem solving and lateral thinking
- Excellent planning, co-ordination and organisational skills
across multiple opportunities concurrently
- Full of energy and drive to make continual progress forwards,
for all our B2B deals globally
- Keen to travel to meet our customers and partners in person
(situation and travel rules permitting)
Desirables
- Good understanding of technology and solution solutions to
maintain clarity and deal progression
- Experience in payments and/or digital distribution (resale
and bundling) market
- Building and continually improving go to market plans
- Experience in selling Software into one or more of these
verticals:
- - Telecoms
- - OTT Streaming
- - Retail
- - Energy
- - Automotive
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
